I\u2019m not really a doctor, but I am qualified to check your creatures&#8217; vitals in a silver bordered (or acorn, or you know\u2026anything abnormal Magic-wise) match and determine if they\u2019re really dead or just mostly dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>{mumbling from stage right}<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, yes, I\u2019ll get on with it, just give me a moment IF YOU PLEASE.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where were we? Declare bonafides, talk about dead critters, bad mouth that hack Dr. Julius Jumblemorph, ahh\u2026here we are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I keep hearing the same question every time I show up to an event. \u201cDoc, does this thing look infected?\u201d And while I want to answer the question but can\u2019t due to a strict moral code and diet of bananas, what I do want to address is the SECOND most common question I get, which is, \u201cDr. Judge, how do I get one of those swanky lab coats?\u201d I know everyone out there wants a cool lab coat. Well, I\u2019ve worked with the minds behind the various products on sale at Judge Foundry and we\u2019ve figured out a way to get one into your hands. I could probably keep going, but let\u2019s face it. This is just an April Fool\u2019s. Really. Nothing to see here. Move along. That\u2019s right, you too can be a <a class=\"deckbox_link\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deckbox.org\/mtg\/Big Winner\">Big Winner<\/a> and say you&#8217;re the rootinest tootinest Un-Judge this side of the Freeway. Make sure you\u2019re a member of Judge Foundry and logged into JudgeApps, then <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.magicjudges.org\/exams\/create\/53\">click on this link to take the test<\/a>! And if you need them, here are some of my favorite Untesting Tips!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Five Dr. Judge Untest Taking Tips for the Timid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strategy, Schmategy &#8211; The questions are often Common sense. Occasionally they venture into Uncommon or Rare territory.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roll Dice &#8211; Don\u2019t know an answer? Roll some dice! Un-sets LOVE dice rolls. I\u2019m sure that will work out for you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Double Take &#8211; Don\u2019t know an answer? Read the question again. While you\u2019re at it, read the cards carefully. Sometimes the answer is there.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time Out &#8211; Take a short break. Pet some grass or whatever it is you kids do these days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Good Day to Pie &#8211; Get a snack. Food always helps me think better. But make sure it\u2019s healthy &#8211; or at least tasty enough to forgive the indulgence.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Postscript:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Friends, a few months ago I was asked if I would be interested in helping to share some of the fun of Un-sets with my fellow judges. Apparently, someone heard that I enjoy silver bordered, acorn nonsense. I\u2019m not sure how that could have happened, but I guess the <a class=\"deckbox_link\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deckbox.org\/mtg\/Half-Kitten, Half-\">Half-Kitten, Half-<\/a>Turkey is out of the bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have the opportunity to run Un-events in the future and want one piece of advice, the best thing I can say is to make it fun. If you don\u2019t know how card X interacts with card Y because you don\u2019t read Mark Rosewater\u2019s Tumbler, <a href=\"https:\/\/markrosewater.tumblr.com\/\">Blogatog<\/a>, that\u2019s not the end of the world. Not everyone has time for that. Check the Oracle notes for rulings and try to figure it out on your own, but please lean towards making the event fun for the players.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If I may, I just want to close with a quick thank you to everyone who has made Un-sets and this project special for me, including: Paul \u201cBearz\u201d Baranay, Joe Klopchic, John Brian McCarthy, Bryan Prillaman, and Marcos Sanchez.
